Soil Testing & Report

Nuturf’s Soil Testing & Report service provides turf managers with essential data to understand the chemical composition of their soil profile and make informed agronomic decisions. By measuring the availability and balance of key nutrients, this service supports the development of tailored fertiliser and amendment programs for optimal turf performance.

The soil analysis measures nutrient levels in parts per million (ppm), providing insight into the concentration of essential cations and micronutrients in the soil. In addition, the major cations, calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), potassium (K), and sodium (Na), are also reported as Base Saturation Percentages. This metric reveals the proportion of each major cation relative to one another, which is a critical factor in maintaining a balanced and fertile soil environment.

Nuturf’s comprehensive Soil Analysis Report includes data on:

  • Calcium (Ca)
  • Magnesium (Mg)
  • Potassium (K)
  • Phosphorus (P)
  • Sulphur (S)
  • Iron (Fe)
  • Manganese (Mn)
  • Copper (Cu)
  • Zinc (Zn)
  • Boron (B)
  • Sodium (Na)
  • Additional soil health indicators: Organic Matter (OM), Total Exchange Capacity (TEC), pH, and Electrical Conductivity (EC)

This analysis enables turf professionals to identify nutrient deficiencies or excesses and guides the development of precise soil amendment and fertiliser programs. The result is a more resilient, high-performing turfgrass surface, whether on golf courses, sportsfields, or other managed turf areas.

With Nuturf’s Soil Testing & Report, turf managers can confidently build their agronomic plans on accurate, science-backed soil data.
