OxaMAX® 18-10-9 is a premium pre-emergent herbicide and controlled-release fertiliser designed for warm-season turf management where both weed prevention and turf nutrition are required in a single, efficient application.
Formulated with 10 g/kg Oxadiazon and a balanced 18-10-9 NPK controlled-release fertiliser, OxaMAX delivers season-long weed suppression while feeding turf with slow-release nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and sulphur to promote dense, resilient surfaces.
This unique dual-function technology allows turf managers to prevent weeds before they germinate while simultaneously encouraging strong turf growth that naturally out-competes invading weeds.
Pre-Emergent Weed Control Powered by Oxadiazon
OxaMAX contains Oxadiazon, a market-leading pre-emergent herbicide with a unique shoot-absorption mode of action. Unlike many pre-emergents that affect roots, Oxadiazon destroys emerging weed shoots while allowing turf roots to develop freely — resulting in superior turf quality and safer establishment.
It provides 3–4 months of residual control of:
- Summergrass (Digitaria ciliaris)
- Crabgrass
- Crowsfoot (Eleusine indica)
- Wintergrass (Poa annua)
- Creeping Oxalis (Oxalis corniculata)
By stopping weeds before they emerge, OxaMAX prevents competition for water, nutrients and space, eliminating the need for unreliable post-emergent sprays.
