How Reserve® StressGard® Works

Reserve StressGard functions as a contact fungicide, forming a protective barrier on the turf surface. It controls disease by preventing spore germination and fungal development on the leaf surface, rather than penetrating inside plant tissue.

Because Reserve StressGard does not move systemically within the turfgrass, thorough and even spray coverage is essential to achieve effective disease control. Its multi-site mode of action (Group M5) attacks fungal pathogens at multiple points, significantly reducing the likelihood of resistance development.
