Posterity® Turf Fungicide delivers exceptional Dollar Spot control and is a powerful option for inclusion in tank mixes to manage this notoriously difficult disease. Designed to set a new benchmark in both strength and longevity, Posterity provides long-lasting curative and preventative protection that holds strong for extended periods.
As a next-generation carboxamide (SDHI) fungicide, Posterity represents a significant step forward compared with traditional DMI fungicides such as propiconazole and tebuconazole. Its smart chemistry offers reliable performance at low use rates while remaining exempt from poison scheduling
How Posterity® Fungicide Works
Posterity® features advanced SDHI (carboxamide) chemistry designed for balanced movement within the plant. After application, it rapidly adheres to the wax layer of the turf leaf, providing strong rainfastness. The active ingredient then slowly penetrates plant tissue, delivering consistent internal distribution and extended residual activity.
This mode of action enables Posterity to control Dollar Spot effectively as both an early curative and preventative treatment, even when disease pressure is high.
Dollar Spot Management Strategy
For best results, begin the season with an early application of Posterity® when conditions favour Dollar Spot development or apply at the first visible signs of disease. Favourable conditions include temperatures between 15°C and 30°C, persistent high humidity, cool nights, and heavy dew formation.
For resistance management and broader disease coverage, Syngenta agronomic programs recommend rotating Posterity with products such as Daconil Weather Stik®, Banner Maxx®, and other trusted fungicides. Posterity is particularly valuable from late summer through autumn, where its curative strength and extended preventative activity help maintain turf quality.
Where to Use Posterity® Fungicide
Posterity® Turf Fungicide is suited to professional turf situations where Dollar Spot pressure is high, including golf courses, sports turf, and intensively managed turf surfaces. It performs effectively as both a standalone treatment and as part of a strategic rotation or tank-mix program.
Formulation & Packaging
Posterity® is supplied in a 500 mL pack size and formulated as a suspension concentrate (SC). The formulation mixes completely with water and is compatible with many commonly used fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, and fertilisers.
