Instrata Turf Fungicide

Instrata® Turf Fungicide is a powerful, triple-action fungicide designed for both preventative programs and early curative use once disease symptoms appear. It combines one systemic DMI fungicide with two contact fungicides, delivering rapid internal clean-up alongside strong surface protection.

The fast systemic activity of propiconazole allows Instrata to quickly cleanse internal transport tissues, making it especially effective in curative situations. At the same time, chlorothalonil and fludioxynil work synergistically on the leaf surface, targeting germinating spores and developing fungal mycelium to prevent further disease spread.

How Instrata® Turf Fungicide Works

Instrata works through a complementary three-way mode of action. Propiconazole, a systemic DMI fungicide, moves rapidly through the plant to clean out infected internal tissues, which is critical when disease has already established.

At the surface, chlorothalonil and fludioxynil attack germinating spores and developing fungal mycelium. This dual contact activity rapidly cleans external plant surfaces and prevents new infections from developing, providing strong protection of leaves, crowns, and thatch.

Together, these chemistries stop disease progression quickly while preventing further spread, delivering both immediate control and lasting protection.

Disease Protection and Application Performance

Instrata can be used either preventatively during periods of elevated disease risk or curatively when early symptoms are visible. It is applied at 18 L/ha, delivering up to 28 days of coverage from a single application.

During periods when rising air and soil temperatures coincide with extended high relative humidity (90%+), Instrata provides reliable crown and foliar disease protection for up to four weeks. In curative situations, such as when Dollar Spot scarring is already present, application at 18 L/ha rapidly controls active disease and helps protect new growth, supporting turf recovery.

Mixing and Compatibility

Instrata is formulated as a suspo-emulsion, offering excellent turf safety and consistent performance. It can be safely tank mixed with Heritage Maxx®, Primo Maxx®, and Subdue Maxx®, allowing flexibility within integrated turf management and disease rotation programs.
