Heritage Maxx Fungicide contains 95 g/L azoxystrobin and delivers advanced, broad-spectrum disease control through a combination of systemic xylem mobility, translaminar movement, and multi-site uptake. This ensures even distribution throughout turf plant tissue and provides consistent protection of new growth for up to 28 days.
Heritage Maxx is designed to be a core foundation fungicide within preventative turf disease programs, offering long-lasting protection against key turf diseases while maintaining excellent turf safety.
Key benefits of Heritage Maxx Fungicide
- Broad spectrum of major turf diseases including Pythium, Anthracnose, Brown Patch and Spring Dead Spot
- Consistent protection of new growth for up to 28 days after application
- Tank mixture with Daconil Weather Stik combines systemic and contact action for high risk periods
- MAXX technology allows for excellent tank mix compatibility with other fungicides, Primo Maxx and foliar fertilisers
- Low odour, non-staining formulation
How Heritage Maxx Works
Heritage Maxx is the only systemic strobilurin fungicide that is absorbed through leaves, crowns, and roots of turf plants. Once inside the plant, azoxystrobin moves upward through the xylem, spreads translaminarly across leaf tissue, and is taken up at multiple sites.
This combination of movement pathways ensures even distribution within plant tissue and consistent protection of both existing turf and new growth. As a result, Heritage Maxx delivers strong preventative control and long residual activity when used as part of a planned disease management program.
Application Timing and Rate Variation
Heritage Maxx is best positioned as part of a preventative fungicide strategy, providing long-term protection against disease development.
In situations where disease pressure has already occurred, Heritage Maxx is commonly used as a follow-up treatment to extend residual protection and support turf recovery. For example, if Brown Patch symptoms are present, an early curative application of Banner Maxx (alone or tank mixed with Daconil Weather Stik) can be followed within 10 days by Heritage Maxx at 6 L/ha. This approach helps stop disease progression and protects new growth for 4–5 weeks.
Application rates and intervals should always be selected based on disease pressure and environmental conditions, in accordance with the product label.
Mixing and Compatibility
Heritage Maxx is a micro-emulsion concentrate (ME) with minimal odour and no petroleum solvents. It mixes completely with water and may be tank mixed with many commonly used fungicides and liquid fertilisers.
MAXX formulation technology ensures excellent physical compatibility and performance when used in integrated turf management programs.
