BanolĀ® Systemic Fungicide is one of the most reliable and proven solutions for the control of Pythium diseases in turf and ornamental production. It delivers both preventative and curative protection, helping manage damping-off and root diseases caused by Pythium spp. across a wide range of turf and ornamental situations.
With a multi-site mode of action, Banol has an extremely low risk of resistance development, with no documented resistance cases over more than 20 years of use. For best performance, Banol should be applied early in disease-favourable conditions to prevent outbreaks and minimise turf or plant injury.
Key features of Banol Fungicide
- One of the most reliable and proven fungicides for pythium control
- Multi-site mode of action (low potential for resistance development)
- True systemic activity
- Reduces development of sporangia and spores
- Excellent user safety at label application rates
- Exceptional plant safety against a variety of ornamental species
- Easy to mix ā 100% water soluble
- Registered for use in forestry production nurseries
How BanolĀ® Fungicide Works
Banol works systemically within the plant, delivering protection against Pythium by reducing spore and sporangia formation and limiting disease development within plant tissues. Its multi-site activity disrupts multiple processes in the pathogen, making resistance development highly unlikely and ensuring long-term reliability in disease management programs.
Where to Use BanolĀ®Ā
BanolĀ® Systemic Fungicide is suitable for use in:
-
Golf courses
-
Bowls greens
-
Lawns and recreational turf
-
Turf farms
-
Ornamental plants
-
Forestry production nurseries
For ornamental and nursery production, Banol should be used as part of a preventative program according to label directions. In recreational turf situations, repeat applications are recommended every 3 to 4 weeks, depending on disease pressure.
Please note that the registration of products to the Envu legal entity is currently in progress. In the meantime, Envu products will progressively transfer from Bayer to the Envu brand. You may observe product with packaging that belong to either Envu or Bayer during this transition.
