BannerĀ® Fairway is a systemic turf fungicide registered for the control of Spring Dead Spot in Couch and Dollar Spot in Bentgrass and Queensland Blue Couch. It is specifically suited to large turf areas where economical, reliable disease control is required.
Banner Fairway is an excellent option for fairways, sporting ovals, polo fields, racing tracks and parklands. Its fast absorption and systemic movement provide strong āstopping power,ā making it effective in both early curative and preventative disease management programs.
Key benefits of Banner Fairway Fungicide
- Effective and economical Spring Dead Spot control
- Fast absorption and even systemic movement through the turf roots to get where it is needed
- Low odour, non-staining formulation
How Does BannerĀ® Fairway Fungicide Work?
Banner Fairway combines fast uptake with systemic movement within the turf plant. After application, the fungicide is absorbed and redistributed through the root system, providing uniform protection across treated areas.
This systemic movement allows Banner Fairway to perform well in both preventative programs and early curative situations, helping to suppress disease development before visible symptoms become widespread.
Application Timing and Disease Management Strategy
For preventative Spring Dead Spot programs, Banner Fairway should be applied at 6 L/ha. Best results are achieved with two sequential applications applied 28 days apart.
For example, on fairways and sports fields, apply Banner Fairway in late February, followed by a second application in late March.
In higher-risk areas with a history of recurring disease, apply Banner Fairway in late February and late March, then follow with HeritageĀ® Maxx in late April to extend protection.
Even application is critical to achieving consistent disease control. Overlapping sprays should be avoided to ensure uniform coverage and performance.
Where to Use BannerĀ® Fairway Fungicide
Banner Fairway is designed for use on large turf areas, including:
- Fairways
- Sporting ovals
- Polo fields
- Racing tracks
- Public parks and open spaces
It is particularly well suited to sites requiring broad-area Spring Dead Spot management.
