Arsenal Super Herbicide is a low-volume knockdown and residual herbicide designed for long-term grass and broadleaf weed control in non-crop areas. It is ideally suited to roadsides and a wide range of council-managed environments where extended vegetation control is required.
Arsenal Super is an optimised formulation of a proven herbicide solution, delivering cost-effective control of unwanted vegetation for up to six months. It performs best as a stand-alone treatment on bare ground or newly emerged weeds, and can also be tank-mixed with glyphosate or other knockdown herbicides to control larger or established plants.
Its unique formulation enables greater active ingredient uptake, improved translocation, and superior rainfastness compared with many alternative herbicides, ensuring consistent and reliable performance in demanding conditions.
Key Benefits of Arsenal Super Herbicide:
-
Cost-effective alternative to, or mixing partner with, glyphosate
-
Provides high-level grass and broadleaf weed control for up to 6 months
-
Delivers both pre-emergent and post-emergent residual control
-
Optimised formulation improves uptake, movement within plants, and rainfastness
-
Compatible with a broad range of other herbicides
-
Registered for both high-volume and low-volume application methods
How Does Arsenal Super Herbicide Work?
Arsenal Super works by delivering strong post-emergent knockdown combined with long-lasting residual activity in the soil. Once applied, the active ingredient is rapidly absorbed and translocated through the plant, providing effective control of existing weeds while also preventing future germination.
When applied to bare ground or newly emerged weeds, Arsenal Super acts as a stand-alone long-term vegetation management solution. In situations where larger or more established weeds are present, it can be tank-mixed with glyphosate or other knockdown herbicides to broaden control and enhance performance.
Its improved formulation ensures better rainfastness and consistency, reducing the risk of performance loss following rainfall.
Long-Term Vegetation Control Performance
Arsenal Super provides extended vegetation control for up to six months, making it well suited to sites where repeat applications are difficult, costly, or impractical. Its combination of knockdown and residual control supports ongoing suppression of both grass and broadleaf weeds, helping maintain clear, manageable areas over extended periods.
Where to Use Arsenal Super Herbicide
Arsenal Super is registered for use across a wide range of municipally managed and non-crop environments, including:
-
Along rail lines and roadways
-
Around buildings and infrastructure
-
Along firebreaks and fence lines
-
Within irrigation channels
-
Rights of way
-
Waste land
It is suitable for high-volume application using knapsack or handgun equipment, as well as low-volume boom spraying.
When applying as a foliar spray for post-emergent and residual control in areas with significant weed biomass, water volumes of 1000 L/ha are recommended to ensure adequate soil penetration and optimal performance.
