Mode of Action
Adama 2,4-D Amine 625 is a MOA Group 4 phenoxy herbicide, functioning as a synthetic auxin. It disrupts growth processes in susceptible plants, causing uncontrolled cell division and elongation. Symptoms typically appear within 1–3 days postapplication and include:
- Leaf curling
- Yellowing and browning
- Plant desiccation within 7–14 days.
Applications for 2,4-D Amine 625 Herbicide
Forestry:
- Pre-Planting: a single pre-plant application, may be applied with glyphosate.
- Post-Planting: a maximum of 2 directed spray post-plant sprays within 2 years.
Industrial Vegetation Management (IVM):
- Rights of way and industrial areas as required using high volume spray.
