Nuturf’s Get Results website offers an invaluable tool for agronomic, budgeting and other management applications in the workplace. It is a virtual platform for storing, displaying and editing Nuturf’s soil, water and tissue analyses. The website has now been running for a number of years and has processed over 30,000 Australian soil samples – all the while improving on the service and functionality that is offered through Getresults.

Using the interactive tools available on the Getresults website, all report data can be graphed and compared for many management uses such as determining the efficacy of a nutrition program or viewing the impact of sodium on calcium availability. Key features of the Getresults website:

Results are always accessible and printable online.

Offers the ability to compare results in many different ways, focussing
on the individual parameters that you desire.

Graph your results to track the health of your soil over a period of
time; this can give an indication of the success of current and past
nutritional practices.

Fast turn-around times – once results are completed at the lab they are posted online immediately.

Free to activate when you purchase a web-based soil, water or tissue analysis, with no ongoing costs.

Online features extend to Nuturf’s other web-based analysis such as Irrigation Suitability Analysis and Plant Tissue Analysis.

Pro Film 904 is a unique, high quality, multi-purpose non ionic adjuvant, designed to enhance performance of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and PGR’s applications. Pro-Film 904 is a completely natural product derived from pine resin technology developed by the market leading company in the US – Miller Chemical Company.

How does Pro-Film 904 Work?

Superior Wetting Action

• Greatly reduces run off at application and prevents re-wetting once dry to allow controlled distribution of pesticides as Pro-Film 904 weathers.

Spreading

• Helps pesticide sprays penetrate and spread out uniformly on hairy and waxy leaves to get into cracks and crevices.

Deposition (Sticking)

• Pro-Film 904 is a superior natural adhesive, increasing the initial amount of pesticide deposited during field applications and also protects the spray residue from loss due to irrigation, rain, dew, leaf abrasion and wind erosion.

Controlled Release

• Pro-Film 904 dries into an elastic film which encapsulates the pesticide particles.

• Systemic chemicals move from the film into the plant tissue.

• Contact insecticides & fungicides are slowly released on the outside of the film for re-distribution and active pest & disease control as the film naturally weathers.

Rainfast

• Because Pro-Film 904 dries rapidly into the waterproof film, it protects systemically translocated chemicals until they can penetrate and enter plant tissue.

Reduces Losses to Environmental factors

• Pro-Film 904 acts as a sunscreen, preventing degradation of the pesticide by ultra violet light.

• Pro-Film 904 encapsulates pesticides before they can evaporate, allowing them to be released slowly for more effective activity.

• New research has shown that Pro-Film 904 retards lateral and down slope movement of soil applied residual herbicides.

A high potassium analysis NPK solution incorporating nitrification inhibitors and humic acid, optimal for intensively managed turfgrass

THE ROLE OF NITROGEN

Maintenance, but not excessive, rates of nitrogen are required for optimum health of intensively managed turfgrass. Nitrogen is the essential building block of plant structure and is vital to plant growth but can be a limiting factor in uptake of other nutrients. Highly mobile in the plant, it is translocated and utilised in the growing tips. Nitrogen is often leached from the soil therefore regular application in low doses will ensure efficient uptake without excessive losses.

THE ROLE OF PHOSPHORUS

Phosphorus acts as a structural component of nucleic acids and phospholipids w hich form plant membranes. It is also important in root growth, cell division, photosynthesis, sugar and starch formation, energy transfer and movement of carbohydrates. Without phosphorus, turfgrass growth and health is limited due to low energy production

THE ROLE OF POTASSIUM

Highly mobile in the plant, potassium regulates the turgidity of cells and is therefore important in stomata control and turfgrass strength. Potassium also maintains cell division, formation of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. Deficiencies of potassium generally result in a weakened turfgrass plant that is susceptible in periods of high stress.

THE ROLE OF HUMIC ACIDS

Humic acid, the active constituent of humus, plays an important role in nutrient availability and cation exchange. Microbial activity, water-holding capacity and soil structure all improve with humic acid application. Its inclusion within the formulation greatly enhances the uptake of the applied nutrients.
